Managing Your Account

Overview

Your Postigniter account gives you access to all tools, your generation history, and your workspace. This guide covers common account management tasks.

Updating Your Profile

  1. Log in and click your avatar or name in the top navigation.
  2. Navigate to Settings or Account Settings.
  3. Update your display name, email address, or profile photo as needed.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Changes to your email address may require re-verification via a confirmation link sent to your new email.

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to Settings → Security (or Account Settings).
  2. Click Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm.
  4. Click Update Password.

If you signed up with Google or Facebook and don't have a password set, you'll see a Set Password option instead. Setting a password lets you log in with email in addition to your social login.

If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page. A reset link will be emailed to your registered address.

Email Notifications

Manage which email notifications you receive from your account settings. You can opt out of marketing emails while keeping transactional notifications (receipts, password resets, workspace invitations) active.

Workspaces

Every Postigniter account operates within a workspace. Your workspace organizes your social profiles, generation history, and collaborators. To manage workspace settings:

  1. Go to Workspace Settings from the sidebar or top navigation.
  2. Update the workspace name, invite team members, or manage member roles (Owner, Admin, Member).

Deleting Your Account

To permanently delete your account, go to Settings → Account and look for the Delete Account option. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data, generations, and workspace history. If you're on an active subscription, cancel it first to avoid future charges.

Getting Help

If you encounter any account issues, use the Help section in the app or visit the documentation for self-service guidance.
